About me

Andrè de Loisted works as a photographer, primarily in photojournalism, trade press, and advertising, in the southern parts of Sweden and Denmark. He is based in Malmö with his wife Hanna, their son Malcolm, and daughter Mirjam.

"We love city life, even though we occasionally escape to the countryside to visit family and friends. Growing up in Lund, we have our roots in Småland and Oklahoma. My uncle Mats, who was a photojournalist, was the coolest person I knew when I was a kid. He taught me a lot about photography and the interaction with the people you photograph. The aesthetics are important, but the connection is even more so.
